Incredible. F*ck the incredible. Nike ball 👌
Where are the white colorway infinity run 2’s??
nice
The legal statement said the shoes reduced injury compared to their own previous model in one study, and not compared to other shoes lol.
It's like kd
Impresionante
Oh really? You want us to have less injuries? Where are the minimalist Nike running shoes then? The Nike Frees were a good start back in the day but where is the rest?
They used to make the Hyperfeel years ago and it was their best attempt at a true minimalist shoe for $175 smh news.nike.com/news/new-nike-free-hyperfeel-functions-as-an-extension-of-the-foot I’d didn’t get mine until 2015 when they were a few years old and were being sold at ROSS for 20 bucks. They were a good attempt, and the best nikes by far that I’ve worn, but the soles wore all the way through after only like 300 ish miles so I they only lasted about 2 months or a bit more. I still wore them quite a while even though they had huge holes in the lateral forefoot and the bare ground was eating up my socks. That’s when I realized the less shoe the better and the ground is my friend. At list price I would’ve been paying damn near 50 cents a mile to run in these shoes, but all my Xeros have a 5000 mile outsole warranty for an $80 sandal
They breaking down them shoes like they dissecting aliens
so nike, how about bring down thos sweatshops
Wait is this the same shoes that almost got banned by Olympic due to the ability to increase performance?
When are the ZoomX Invincible Runs dropping in The Netherlands? Can't find them anywhere D:)
Please release wide size version. So many people excited about tech in Nike shoes like vapor fly and alphafly but they can’t fit with this shoe. Now I use vaporfly 4%. It is a great one but it hard to sizing if you are wide feet. Please release a great shoes in wide size.
I like your project .
Love the detailing
Stop promoting heel to toe striking. Heel striking is not good. I'll never buy nike running shoes also does nike even realize their top marathoners dont land heel first.
Yup, that’s why they rejected Newton’s idea, stole it and tweaked it so they can’t sue then put it in Kipchoge’s alpha % shoes.
Shouldnt everone know by now that you are not supposed to heelstrike when you run?
@Bryan Choy should never, at all cost, running with heel-strike
@Bryan Choy i dont think anyone should ever heel-strike when running.
Nike😊✊🙏👋
Stop making runners with BIGG ASS SOLES
that heel strike bruh
Great Project 👌
I’ve been boycotting Nike for years.
injury free?
Long story short these shoes got me injured
We on the same boat, very disappointed.
lmaoooooo
weren't running shoes always supposed to reduce injury? sounds like nike's just been selling bad shoes that didn't help before
@George Shoemaker great name BTW 😁
@allride you're preaching to the choir here bud
And they will continue doing just that. You better switch to minimalist shoes of some sort. Go down in stack height and heel toe drop, not up. It’ll make your feet and legs stronger and healthier = less prone to injury
Ant what for this to get banned lol
Great shoes. Wish I could wear Nike's as they seem all to be very narrow for my feet.
These two new shoes are actually really wide
I’m buying the Nike react infinity 2 today
Hi #Nike my name is Victor Hugo, and I have Cerebral Palsy. I am Para-Athlete I do Athletics, the modalities I do are shot put, javelin throw, discus and sometimes I do street racing and I would like to win a tennis, but I don't know that there is this model in my country o model that I am suggesting is (NikeZoomRivalSD2) preferably light blue, and I tried to find it on the internet, but, it is very difficult to find a decent website here in Brazil, and I also tried to find it on your store website but it didn’t work, When I put the model I wanted, I kept saying that it was not available at the moment, and I am appealing for you to find a way to send just one shoe of this type of model, please help me.

When is the Air Zoom Viperfly coming out?
Would be interested to have injury rates compared with additional models and/or shoes from other companies. The stated studies show improvement over Nike’s own Structure 22, but that could also mean the Structure 22 just kind of sucks at injury prevention. And yet Nike still sells the Structure series. I’m generally skeptical about shoe claims but I always defer to good evidence.
I agree with you that as a consumer it would be helpful to know the injury rate against other brands, but it wouldn't be in Nike's interest to compare against other brands. I learnt that the Structure 22 shoe is (or was before the Infinity React) Nike's current stability running shoe model and that's why it was chosen for the comparison.
All good until you read the disclaimer and realize you have bought the wrong nike shoes...
The real question is do these high-stack, raised heel shoes cause less injuries than running barefoot, or in true minimalist shoes (which Nike doesn’t sell). Does all that foam really protect the bones, muscles, and connective tissue or is the opposite the case? Does the padding increase or decrease the impact?
@allride take your time, your feet have been lied to since childhood. Too much too fast is the #1 minimalist rookie mistake. A year or more isn’t unreasonable. Focus on proper form, which also takes time...They started making raised heel shoes because Bill Bowerman (Nike) told people jogging had to be done with heel-striking, as opposed to running which naturally is fore/midfoot strike. He literally invented a new sport, changed people’s movement mechanics (creating your own problem) and then made shoes with extra padding to prevent the injuries he was causing with the classic Cortez design. They’ve been stuck on their own stupid by trying to outsmart the foot ever since, and they lead the pack so others will blindly follow. Like everything else corporate profit wins. They know the science is totally opposed to them, that’s why their 10 second data presentation only fools those who likely won’t even pause the video to look at the stats, or don’t know that they aren’t really saying anything other than both the old and new models suck at preventing injuries, but the new one sucks less. Every human alive if walking barefoot and something scares them to the point of “fight or flight” will take off running landing forefoot because it’s hardwired. Anything faster than walking hurts like 💩on your heels after a few steps and natural bipedal instinct takes over. Running is simply “bounce, then fly” over and over, the heel touches the ground after the forefoot/midfoot spreads the initial impact then back to the forefoot to spring off the loaded arch. All the best
Thank you two for having a civilized, mature and interesting discussion over here. I’m actually transitioning to minimalist shoes at the moment. Wish me luck.
@Mike Lewis how were they transitioning into the minimalist shoes? As you stated previously it takes time. And the heel striking is the worst part of it all. They know it’s injurious but they’re still intentionally making these shoes with “rocker” tech to encourage it. That’s irresponsible and contradictory to the whole point of what they claim they’re doing
@Masoud Abdun-Noor I wouldn't blame Nike for building shoes that we all want to buy. Eliud uses the highest stack he can legally use to race in and set WR's. When Nike launched the Alpha's, a bunch of pros sponsored by other makes, ran in the Nikes anyway because they're the best race shoe by most standards (this was last year and there are many new contenders in this space now). There is absolutely a point of diminishing returns on stack height and if you were paying attention, a big part of this project is stability so for Nike to create sufficient cushion to reduce repetitive impact injuries AND maintain a stable running base is impressive. There are far more injuries from people trying to transition to minimalist running shoes and just maintain their mileage than there are from people consistently increasing mileage with modern cushioned running shoes. I was an X-ray tech at a sports medicine clinic that catered to 2 local universities and both cross country teams tried minimal and after most of their runners were sidelined, they all transitioned back. i took xrays of a lot of unnecessary stress fractures over those 2 months.
@Mike Lewis partially true, they’ve created their own problem, so they they have two choices: tell the truth and let people either accept it or not, or make the problem worse by continuing the lie, and adding even more foam, air, and carbon plates. At this rate soon running shoes will look like platform pimp shoes. Barefoot is best, but in the modern urban world we often need underfoot protection, but that’s about it most of the time. So shoes themselves aren’t the problem, it’s how most shoes are made.
0:23 Didn't know Dr. Lecter was also a test subject.
So all the previous models are failed?
Pls work on quality of snickers also not just fashion and aesthetic! I might come back to Nike or I prefer my pair of Adidas!
the editing on this though 👌
@Brixton Remington checking it out now. Seems great so far :)
GO NIKE 💪
React is not “insanely responsive”. However I do love the OG React Infinity Run. Looks better dirty too.
@rundc_ oh I see what you’re saying and I completely agree
@Sam Gilman True. Referring to the React Infinity Run 2 where they say “React is insanely responsive”. It’s just not.
The invincibles have zoomx foam in them
Anyone recommend the Pegasus 37 as a daily runner? I’m somewhat new to *running* running, looking to do 5K runs maybe twice a week just to stay healthy. Maybe do a half marathon or something way down the line
@Surya Untung conveniently pulled the trigger about 15minutes ago😂 thanks
Prgaus series is a safe bet. It is good enough to do fast run. And supportive enough to do long run. The outer sole is quite durable (one of the most durable i know - been using it for more than 600 km)
Amazing the original react infinity's weren't part of this study. Worst lockdown in the history of running shoes.
The foundation of this study was the study performed on the originals. They got those results even with terrible lockdown (i agree with you on that) and they're not promoting the originals anymore because the successor has arrived which, according to youtube reviewers, has drastically improved the lockdown issue that plagued the first iteration.
Hi
Any pair
Please
Can you send me one pair
Who created this video? Love this motion style.
I animated/edited this with a small team at DressCode in NYC.

What happened to Otto Warmbier in North Korea,
Looks like they carelessly fried his brain during torture, leaving him in a vegetative state - he died soon afterward. But the *_Nike React_* cushioning is pretty amazing.
*_so you promote women in head scarfs ?! So you promote subjugation of women ! Just for avoiding controversy & sales decline ?_*
The smelly sack conversantly lie because celeste puzzlingly shock sans a busy insect. proud, separate refund
Hey Nike, HOW IS THIS INCREDIBLE CHAIR CALLED?
No one: Me: Watching knowing damn well these shoes finna be out of my price range
@tru tube lmao people with jobs aren't gonna be willing to put in almost 200 bones for a pair of running shoes that'll last them 400 miles, you got bills, rent, food, all that stuff keep in mind, mcdonald's for someone looking to buy expensive commodities like really nice running shoes is a little unrealistic
@TripleMoya Games Yes but if the react infinitys are what you want, jackrabbit has them down to $130 for some reason. only two colorways on their site right now.
@Mike Lewis oh word?
$160 for the IR v2's and $180 for the Invincibles.
Put the the video game controller and go get a job at McDonalds. Then maybe...just maybe.
Zoomx invincible...yes!!!! Bring in lighter version like turbo 2
It’s a heavy shoe
Up until @2:00 I thought I pair of Hoka One One was going to appear. :-) Invincible looks amazing 🤩
When shoe companies talk about heel-toe transitions I'm always left wondering whether they are designing their shoes for heel strikers only?? What about the rest of us mid foot (and forefoot) strikers?
@Con Vex on contrary, the research has shown rearfoot strike is the most efficient running pattern although it has the most impact on knees among the 3 striking patterns
@Con Vex Nike has been aware of this for decades, they know the real science and will continue to ignore it and lie as long as it’s profitable. All the other major companies take nike’s lead also don’t expect anything from them either.
@Alphax at least I made my intentions clear, didn't I? Any semblance of snarking was strictly targetted at the profit mongering shoe company, not the random internet stranger. Rest is up to your imagination.
@Con Vex yes you were
@illizard8 lol i was never snarking at you.. :) peace
"We performed an external study" is incredibly contradictory lol
"We knew we needed an independent, unbiased source, so we did the study ourselves."
So basic copying everything Hoka is doing, gotcha.
@Enkidu I have tried on the wides. The problem for me is I actually have narrow feet but need the space just in the forefoot. In the wide shoes I feel like a ten year old wearing his dads shoes. I’m sure it’s a small group that has this specific issue but I’ve gone the rounds with so many makes/models and if Nike hadn’t broken out of their own tradition of fairly narrow shoes when they did, I might not be running anymore. Altar is the only other option for me but I’m really not sold on zero drop personally.
@Mike Lewis sorry to hear that! Perhaps consider some of the wide-fit options from Hoka? The Rincons are some of my favorite shoes ever, except for their limited durability.
@Mike Lewis I also find it weird that they’re intentionally widening the forefoot but not the toe box. They’ll copy hoka and Newton, but not Altra lol
I wish i could wear hokas but they're too narrow and kill my neuromas. Part of Nike's project is the wide forefoot and despite how bad the heel slippage was in the original infinity's, i went through 3 pairs because was i able to keep running in them and i couldn't with hokas anymore. there were multiple factors at play but a contributing factor to me getting neuromas was going through 2 pairs of rincons which i loved but sidelined me for 2 months.
FYI for anyone that’s been trying to figure out the difference between the two shoes like me. According to their website: “Created for long training runs, the Invincible silhouette includes more foam in the midsole than React foam in the Infinity, creating a soft ride while returning more energy for improved running economy.”
Love the running app- but the actual customer service of Nike in the UK is appalling.
💧Check Out www.odysseyscent.com For Luxury Car Perfumes and Air Fresheners 💧
It’s not clear what’s the difference between the two shoes... one is incredible bouncy and one is extremely responsive ...
Hype, hype, hype, hype! Unfortunately, infinity v.1 kept me 6 months out with two tendonitis on my right 🦶🏽... because of lack of heel lock down. On the other hand, epic react shoes were great, having run in three pairs of them!
You are on a mission to take our money
But guess what you get something in exchange. I guess you are just figuring out how society works
So is the INTERNET SERVICE you're using.
so they compared a new running shoe to an outdated model and it performed better. ground breaking lmao
i use epic react flyknits for running, definitely recommend
Same, I love them!
Awesome!
I’m glad y’all fixed the heel slippage issue of the infinity’s.
Those look nice !
Well done! Not a single word said, but this speaks volumes! The pursuit of making products that help reduce injuries is worth celebrating. Already ordered my React 2 and am itching for the Invincible release here in the US.
@MG That's what i read over the weekend but still not showing anywhere online. Excited to order some for me and my wife.
Invincible coming Jan 11 to US Nike Members

The invincible pair look incredible! Was eyeing up the Alphafly but honestly I think these may be the ones!
@OneSavageBeaver 100% agree 🙌🏼 cheaper and still would do a solid job! ☺️ I appreciate that, thanks!
@Preshhd I mean if you got the money, get what you want to your hearts content as it’s your own hard money. It is smart to get a last year model though
@Blixten you have a good point there 🙌🏼
@Preshhd then you dont need a 180$ shoe bro... Just get some cheap, last year model.
@OneSavageBeaver I appreciate that mate, from my perspective it's just what suits my needs. I'm not looking to do any races or serious running therefore the invincible suits my current running performance 🤝
